Milissa Grace Triplett
Lakeland, Florida – The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigation an accident on Interstate 4 where a pedestrian was struck & killed. On Monday, July 29th at 1:40 AM, a vehicle driven by Dennis Gayle, of Lakeland, was traveling westbound on Interstate 4 west of US Highway 92 in the outside lane. At the same time Milissa Grace Triplett, Tampa, was walking westbound on Interstate 4 in the outside lane and was subsequently struck by Gayle’s Car. According to preliminary reports Gayle was unable to observe or avoid Triplett and she sustained fatal injuries and expired at the scene of the crash.
This is an ongoing investigation.
